Dozer operations covers dozer operations in the civil construction industry.

It includes:

  • Planning and preparing
  • Conducting machine pre-operational checks
  • Stripping, spreading material
  • Operation of dozer
  • Cut and fill
  • Battering, stockpiling, cutting drains
  • Benching, backfilling
  • Relocating the machine and carrying out Operator maintenance and clean up

Requirements

  • Participants must wear steel capped footwear. STO can provide Hi Visibility Clothing and Hard Hats. For any specific PPE requirements please contact STO
  • English language skills need to be sufficient to understand and comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Numeracy skills are needed to interpret calculations and formulas

Certification

On successful completion of this course, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for Conduct civil construction dozer operations – RIIMPO 323D
